Motev, founded by Robert Gaskill and Morgan Freeman, is now a B2B co-creation partner with Faraday Future upon delivery of an FF 91 2.0 Alliance. Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc., a California-based global shared intelligent electric mobility ecosystem company, announced it delivered an FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance to Motev, a leader in sustainable luxury transportation services that operates a fleet of luxury vehicles in Southern California. Motev is acquiring an FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance to put in service as part of their VIP fleet operations. The delivery took place at Faraday Future HQ in Gardena, California.

“Sustainability” is at the forefront of the conversation in every industry, and in our industry in particular the sustainability conversation leads us straight to EVs. In 2016 Motev started with 11 Teslas, and we remain committed to the EV space and to the evolution of the vehicles that occupy it. We recently updated our fleet with 15 new Teslas (X, S, and Y).

MOTEV, a Los Angeles-based luxury black car service that only uses zero emissions Teslas, is joining with KCET-TV for the first annual West Coast Environmental Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre on July 29. MOTEV will be showcasing one of its new Tesla P90X models during the West Coast Environmental Film Festival in the plaza of the Egyptian Theater.

With help from investor Morgan Freeman, MOTEV is refashioning stars’ rides to Hollywood award shows. In an industry where appearance is (pretty much) everything, one’s choice of awards show transportation is not to be taken lightly. It used to be a limo, then a black car and now – it’s a Tesla. “Most people want a Tesla,” MOTEV founder Robert Gaskill tells Fast Company.

Robert Gaskill has been driving Miss Daisy’s driver – Morgan Freeman – for over 20 years. As a result of that relationship, Freeman became the sole investor in Gaskill’s boutique black-car service company, Motev, when it launched last September with a fleet made up entirely of P90DL Tesla vehicles. Gaskill’s vision for his company was rooted in sustainability crossed with luxury.

MOTEV, a groundbreaking luxury black car service comprised solely of environmentally-friendly, zero emissions Teslas, today publicly launched the first social impact partnership in its industry to support tree-planting and pioneer an ecosystem of sustainability. Through a new partnership powered by Pledgeling, MOTEV will donate money towards the planting of one tree in the Los Angeles.
